Prepare A Treatment Bag

Preparing a tote bag full of essentials and some of your favourite things to keep you comfortable and entertained is a crucial step in preparing for your treatment. A well=packed treatment bag can make a difference in the cancer treatment experience, and the items you bring can cause you to relax more. You bring some of the following items in your treatment bag: reading materials, a stress ball, notepads, crossword puzzles and comfortable clothes.

Have A Support Buddy

The final tip to know is one of the most important, have a support buddy that you can turn through for the entire process. Make sure it’s someone you can trust and someone who is close to you. A support buddy can drive you to the treatment(s) and help you understand what is happening at each visit while also offering a second opinion.
