Crafts Ideas To Give Your Partner On Valentine’s Day

February 14 is here. Another year we do not overlook this date in which that special person who is part of our life will be more present than ever. Because more than a day to give, it is about reminding ourselves that we must, and it is necessary to do it from time to time, celebrate the love we feel for our life partner.

And today is February 14, the day on which an ancient Roman priest named Saint Valentine decided to secretly marry two young lovers and disobey the orders of Claudius II, the emperor who forbade marriage between young single men because, in his understanding, they would cease to be good soldiers. And that is why they executed Valentine’s Day on February 14 and, since then; “Valentine’s Day” has been celebrated in his honor.

To celebrate this day we propose some ideas to reinforce love with some ‘do it yourself’ details that you can do in a jiffy and that will cost you very little.

1. Letters That Express How You Feel

This is surely the easiest detail to do, but perhaps the most difficult to put into words. For this reason, we place it in the first place, since perhaps it is the first time that you jump in to tell that person that you really love them and that you want them by your side forever. So what better gift than a declaration of love and good intentions in a small jar, for example? See how you can make your own message in a bottle, or make 3D letters thanks to Valentines SVG files which make it for us easy to give craft gifts to our partner and it’s an amazing idea.

2. Light Up Your Gift With Neon Lights

If what you want is to spend time with your partner, this day is perfect to tell him in a different way, that this is your intention. Reveal your plan in a big way, and in an illuminating way, with the help of some beautiful neon lights that you can make yourself. We tell you how you can create letters in a very simple way, and place them on the door of the house, in the room, or wherever you prefer.

3. Create An Original Chain Of Memories

What better day than February 14 to remember together all those moments that represented a before and after in your relationship, or simply, some of your best funny, romantic, or anecdotal memories together. Choose those photos or objects that make you remember them, link them in a chain, and frame them. We show you up to 10 different designs to organize your photos on Valentine’s Day.

4. Customize Any Of Their Garments Or Create One For The Occasion

This can be a very good occasion to personalize a garment that unites you in a special way. Crochet gloves, scarves, paint on clothes … you have a lot to choose from. From Vivo, we propose you white gloves with half a heart to shake hands and walk together on winter afternoons. How to do it? This video will help you make some simple mittens in no time.

5. Yell At Her With Flowers Happy Not Valentine!

There are many people who for various reasons decide not to give anything away on this day, who, far from consumerism and mass commerce, prefer to ignore the celebration. However, despite everything, Valentine’s Day will remind you that love is one of the most wonderful things we can give and receive. So, we propose to you the classic par excellence: a bouquet of flowers, yes, original shouting Happy not Valentine! Because, after all, the detail is what counts, whether or not it’s Valentine’s Day.
