What I've Learned Wednesday - Blogging Schedule

I have to believe I'm not the only one OCD meticulous enough to do this...

I have a blogging schedule.  As in, every day that I post has a theme.  I have gone over the edge.

Mondays are for zombie-preparedness, Tuesdays, I post a project.  Wednesdays I tell you about all the crap totally necessary stuff I've learned in my blogging journey, Thursdays are for Goodwill and Fridays are for recipes.

Why do I do this?  Well, other than being one of those 'quirky' sort of people, I really function well with some structure.  It's easier for me to plan stuff if I know when it's going to be posted.  I think it goes with that list-making, type-A, annoy-everyone-around-you sort of thing...

Do any of you do this too?

I link up at these great parties!

  1. I have a schedule, but it doesn't include themes for each day. I just try to post a project (using the term loosely, sometimes my projects are food I've made, tips I've come across, etc.) on Mondays and Fridays, and then on Wednesdays I have my link party. The last Saturday of each month is "Caturday" where I post cat-related projects, but other than that there isn't really a theme. If I have anything else worth posting I just sorta throw it in on a Tuesday or Thursday... :-)

  2. I don't have a schedule. It doesn't surprise me, miss budget down to a penny, does have a schedule. Perhaps I need to invite you into my world to provide me with some structure :)

  3. Yes, I do the exactly same thing. I only post 3x/week - Manicure Mondays, Weird & Wonderful Wednesday and it used to be a recipe on Friday but I've been slacking on that and just adding out of the day posts instead. I keep saying I need to switch things up but hey, if it ain't broke...

  4. Schedule all the way! It helps me stay focused and in control. Otherwise I would lose my mind.

  5. I absolutely do this.
I've only got three themes so far, though.
Tuesdays alternate between two topics, and every Friday is the same topic.
Sometimes I'll throw in a random post.
Having a schedule has greatly increased my ability to reliably post and my stats (I'm in the double digits routinely now!) and it's provided a framework into which I can fit almost any topic I want to talk about.
Plus I can schedule posts in advance and feel less pressure to come up with something/anything!

I love all the comments I get from you! Because of an insane amount of spam, I had to turn off anonymous commenting but I'd love it if you'd comment anyway!
