25 Days of Christmas - Make A Pottery Barn-Inspired Wreath

It is safe to say that with the number of items I make using Pottery Barn as inspiration, they will not be beating down my door with sponsorship offers any time soon.

I got the Pottery Barn winter catalog, or as I like to call it 'pictures of the home that's waiting for me somewhere but I can't find it yet' and saw several items that were so pretty, but so easy to make. I'm a thrifty crafty girl, you know, so I can't pay those Pottery Barn prices and face myself.

I gathered my supplies:
Yes, that's it... a wreath and some Christmas ornaments.  Oh, and the Pottery Barn catalog, of course.  I got the wreath and ornaments last year on clearance... they were all 90% off which adds up to awesome.

I started by putting sprigs of the wreath through the hoop on the ornament, like so:
I twisted the sprig so the ball would stay in place.  I went all the way around until I was happy with the amount of ornaments on the wreath...
And then, for good measure, I hot glued the ornaments to each other so they would stay put.
See? They're staying put.

Then I put it up.  It looks great in person and it took no time at all!
I won't tell you what Pottery Barn is selling these for and I won't tell you what these supplies cost... but I can tell you that my version is WAAAAYYYY better.  Give it a try!

I love all the comments I get from you! Because of an insane amount of spam, I had to turn off anonymous commenting but I'd love it if you'd comment anyway!
