Over at her site, she's playing a little game for new bloggers (those of us newbs with a blog that's 6 months old or younger) where she asks questions, we answer them, and awesomeness magically happens. At least, that's how I understand it. Here's the questions:
Why did you decide to start blogging?I have been reading blogs for forever and loved the cyber-community that bloggers can create. I thought I could create my own little blog world, share some fun projects and maybe make a few people laugh too.
When you aren't blogging, what are you doing?I have two boys, a six-year old and a two-year old. To say they keep me busy is a huge understatement. I also have a husband who is completely helpless without me. Besides my family, I coupon, craft, and I'm writing a book!
What is your blog about? My blog is about crafting on a budget, and using coupons to get free stuff! I don't think there's anything better than crafting and freebies. Now if I could just get free crafting supplies, I'd be in heaven.
When do you find the time to blog?My husband is one of those men who don't call watching their own children "babysitting", a trait of his that I am truly grateful for. Because he doesn't mind watching them after he comes home from work, I get some blogging done then. I also get woken up in the middle of the night due to two-year old blankie emergencies, and if I can't get back to sleep I'll hop on.
Why do you love blogging? There are some amazing people in this world. Truly. When someone follows my blog or comments on a post, I see if they have a blog so I can follow them. And I've actually made blogging friends! I am always amazed that people who might never meet in real life can call each other friends... and I love that.
What is your favorite post so far that you've written?
I think my favorite post has been my Goodwill Tray Redo. It's my favorite because it was such a simple project that took such little time, but people really responded to it! I want to follow up with every single one of them and say 'THIS PROJECT WAS EVEN EASIER THAN IT LOOKS, DO IT.', but that might be pushy. :)
There you go, Sassy! Thanks for inviting us new bloggers to introduce ourselves!
