It's called a Muffaletta.
Here's what you'll need to be nominated for sainthood:
Ham... this is 'ham off the bone' from the deli at Walmart. It's delightful.
More provolone. You heard me.
Put your sandwich on a sheet of foil and wrap it up nice and pretty. Place them on a cookie sheet, like so:
The ones with the olive relish are the furthest ones from my camera. Still too close.
Bake your sandwiches at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes, just long enough for the provolone to get all melty and gooey. I'm drooling.
Here it is. The picture of this should be eaten, that's how awesome these Muffalettas are. Truly.
A word of advice: Don't try to eat too many of these at one time. I really believed I could eat two at one sitting... but it makes a big sandwich. My pride almost made me keep eating, but my head kept the second sandwich wrapped up and put it in the fridge. I heated it up for lunch the next day and it was still delicious. Enjoy!
